Along this month, JomLayan got few sad stories. A strong challenge to JomLayan and its community members.

First of all, it is about their forum status. The owner at this moment working hard trying to save the forum due to higher cost required to maintain. The main reason due to the high memory resources usage compare to what is allocated. The owner has no choice in order to save the forum - upgrade the hosting package. Else, the forum need to be shutdown after being exist for more than 2 years and just having their gathering.

The second one if about their forumer with the nick gareth. A nice guy, believed the actual name as Ezran Hakimi, reported passed away in the morning of 20th December 2007 after suffering cancer. The late gareth is also one of a few pioneer moderator and very active in the forum. While in the treatment still spent his time with JomLayan. We will missed him after this. Al-Fatihah…

Recently JomLayan forum owner has moved the forum from their previous hosting providing ~ CGY that using Qala data center as their hosting location to Exabytes in Malaysia. There are number of reasons why the migration is taken place.

Hopefully, this will help to improve the performance of the forum in the future but there are still many works need to be done, specially to monitor if the forum over utilise what is located to them in them of the server resources.

Today, before the noon time, it is found that the forum is back to normal, and I got an information that changes will be made soon for the future of the forum.

Well, I’m not pretty sure what is that, so let wait and see what’s next

Ya, hari ini dalam sejarah, atau lebih tepat lagi bermula petang semalam bila secara tiba-tiba website JL menunjukkan mesej This Account Has Been Suspended.

Aku yakin, ramai forumer yg menggelabah dan mungkin ada yg buat selamba, lantak la. Biasala, setiap org ada ragam yg tersendiri. Sebab apa jadi mcm tu? Kena la tanya dengan owner itu sendiri.

Secara amnya, perkara ni blh berlaku atas beberapa sebab, antaranya tak bayar bil hosting, penggunaan CPU resources melebihi had dibenarkan, penggunaan memory resources melebihi had dibenarkan. Kalau penggunaan bandwidth melebihi had, mesej lain yg akan keluar.

Mungkin bagi aku, dah tiba masanya untuk berehat seketika dari arena forum, fokuskan kepada mempelajari selok-belok forex pulak kot

JomLayan kembali lagi dgn pertandingan baru, kali ni melalui Bod Fotografi mereka.
